Wealth Mindset Coaching Saved My Life

"Like we say in Spanish in Mexico, 'mente es ambiente.' Your mind is your environment, and you can't foster good things or a millionaire mindset if you don't have that belief. That's key. That's what has changed. I have removed limiting beliefs that I didn't know I had and started changing my beliefs, believing that I can do it.

What does your company do?

We have maintenance and return overhaul facilities for the army, specifically for the planes of the Mexican army. We also have a satellite start-up, which is a very interesting and challenging project. However, it is also very rewarding.

Where were you before BMC?

When we met, which was, I think, in January or February of 2023, I was having problems because I wasn't being authentic. For me, being authentic means that my mind, spirit, and actions are in sync. Something was off. Now that we've been working together, I know that I manifested you showing up in my life, helping me to be authentic, to align my belief system, and to understand my core values.

So that's basically how we came together. Like I said, the business was okay, but I had a lot of difficulties with family problems and legal problems. It stemmed from the fact that I was not in sync—body, mind, and soul.

How did you find BMC, and what made you decide to work with us?

The b-TFA™ concept is incentive-based. I'm an engineer, right? We've spoken about this. If it doesn't make sense in an equation, I don't like it. And this does make sense: b-TFA™ belief. I believe it all starts with a belief, right? A belief will create a thought. That thought will generate a feeling, and you will act on that feeling.

So for me, that's been huge. It's a belief—believe it or not. Like we say in Spanish in Mexico, 'mente es ambiente.' Your mind is your environment, and you can't foster good things or a millionaire mindset if you don't have that belief. That's key. That's what has changed. I have removed limiting beliefs that I didn't know I had and started changing my beliefs, believing that I can do it.

In the end, I have my mantra, and I've told you this. People have mantras, but mine is 'I am.' I don't want to define myself; I just am. By not defining myself, I am being limitless, as you mentioned. So 'I am' is my number one belief. I am, and I can do whatever I set myself to do. It starts with that belief, which will trigger thoughts. As we saw in class, what fires together, wires together. It follows a path.

What did you immediately recognize that needed fixing inside your business?

2023 was a very challenging year, and thank God for the mastery and the coaching because I wouldn't have been able to make it without them. People think that when you start climbing and becoming freer—like we've talked about, with money and spirituality—it gives you the freedom to do what you want. But life, challenges, and problems get tougher.

If you don't have the right mindset and the right tools, you won't be able to make it. As we've discussed many times, I probably would have jumped off a bridge or something.

What are some “Before & After” results in tangible metrics you experienced in your business from working with us?

Well, I mean, you touched on many points, but more than mindset, mastery follows specific programs. Another book we've been reading, '10x Is Easier Than 2x,' illustrates this point. When you focus and have a laser focus on your goal, whatever that goal may be, you have very few options. I also read in 'Antifragile' a quote about Steve Jobs: focusing is not doing what you have to do, but ignoring the other ten things around you so you can focus on what you have to do.

That's been really hard for me because most people here are probably entrepreneurs. They have their own businesses, and they're likely like me when I started, wanting to micromanage everything and know about everything, which ends up making you the bottleneck. At some point, you just have to delegate and trust that you've picked the right people to do things, then focus on your mastery and unique ability. Everyone in this masterclass has a unique ability. If you can focus on that and tune out all the other distractions, you'll succeed.

That's what we did last year, and it was very tough for me. You have to take leaps of faith. As you continue to elevate and grow, you take care of one 20% and then move on to another 20%, requiring you to shed more of what you've been doing. That constant evolution and change are hard. Going back to 'Antifragile,' you have to be an antifragile system. Antifragility means that stress works to your benefit up to a certain point. It helps you rather than affecting you negatively. You are always learning and changing.

People generally don't like change or volatility, and if you don't like it, you're not going to make it. That's my personal opinion. It's been really challenging for me, and it will continue to be a challenge, but now I know it and welcome the challenge.

What would you say to someone considering working with BMC?

And I've already said it, and I'll say it again: it starts with a belief. You have to change your beliefs—that's the key. We've been working together for a year, and we always go back to that. Every time we meet, it's 'check your belief.' If something is stuck, it's 'check your belief.'

Really, if you can change and rewire your brain—that's basically what we have to do and what we're trying to do. I get frustrated sometimes with Michael, and he gets frustrated with me. I'm very hard on myself because I think, 'Oh, I'm going to rewire, and that's it.' No, it's a constant struggle. It's a daily struggle of changing your beliefs.

That's my main takeaway from what we've been doing. Every time it gets harder, it's supposed to get harder, but the rewards are amazing.

That's my main focus. As we've said, there has to come a point, like in that quote I always mention from the movie 'The Departed,' which I love. Jack Nicholson's character says, 'I don't want to be a product of my environment. I want my environment to be a product of me.'

That's possible. If you think it's possible, you can shape the environment rather than the other way around. You're in control of creating your own reality, including financials.
